People think that's weird straight off the bat. I get made fun of behind my back all the time about it. You want to know something else weird about me? I'm telepathic, well, sort of. It's kind of complicated. I can let others read my mind, hear my thoughts - I just can't read anyone else's. So, in a way that makes me telepathic, just not in the way most think. I do have one advantage, I can close my mind so others can't see it. Which is a bonus. I don't want some freak off the street knowing what I'm thinking. They wouldn't believe it.

Oh but wait, there's more. There are more things that make me "weird" in the normal people's opinion. I hang out in the "weird crowd" or I'm one of the "freaks" if you want to say that. High school is brutal when it comes to labels. Anyway, first off, there is my best friend, Lynn. She's a vampire. She's from some old vampire family that's been around for a really long time. She's not really powerful but, maybe it's because she really isn't that old yet. I don't really know how that works. Plus, she's a major clean freak - it's ridiculous really.

Then, there is Mercedes and Janielle. They are twins. What's weird about them? They see the future. Near, distance, far, they see it. Only problem with the future, it changes constantly. The small decision can change everything about it. Plus, they are the only two people that can read my mind. It doesn't matter how hard I try to block it, they still get through.

I've been having this weird dream lately. The girls and I can't seem to figure it out. There's something about it though that Mercedes and Janelle aren't telling. They say they aren't sure but, I can tell there is something about it. It's always the same. I see this vampire, and I always say to him, "You're not Vincent." I try to run away but, he catches me and then, he bites me. I usually wake up after that. Mercedes finds out that this Vincent, is a real vampire and he's Lynn's half brother.

Vampires, Seers, Telepathics, Werewolves. That's what really haunts this world. Yeah, there are "normal" people out there. The real danger is that people are drinking blood, changing into giant wolves, seeing the real future - right under these "normal" people's noses. To me, it just seems normal to be surrounded by the abnormal.
