Outgoing Mer is pretty outgoing. She'll talk to just about anyone about anything - minus her special ability. She isn't afraid to talk.

Shy At the same time, Mercedes has her shy side. It mostly pops up around a boy she might reallly like, or have a crush on.

Short Fused. Mercedes has a pretty short temper. It usually shows up when people make fun of her friends, especially Lydia. Mer tends to get really quiet and doesn't talk when she's angry, unless she is defending something. Then, things can get loud, and sometimes violent if she gets mad enough.

Protective She's really protective of her twin sister Janielle, and her best friend Lydia. She doesn't want anything to happen to them. Normally, she can see when danger is coming so it's not hard for her to be there in the right moment. She will do anything to keep them safe.

Seer Mercedes and her sister can both see the future. Most of the time, Mercedes doesn't mind it. In fact, she's learned to ignore most of the visions that come up. She knows which ones to pay more attention to, and which ones she can forget about. Mercedes finds it to be a normal day-to-day thing.

Mercedes Amber Granger was born to Antonio and Carla Granger July 10th at 10:31 p.m. Her twins sister came a few minutes after Mercedes, marking her as the oldest. The girls grew up in a nice house. They had a typical American childhood, except for one thing. Mercedes and Janielle are both seers.

Mercedes had visions since before she could remember. When she was younger, she thought nothing of it. When Mercedes was 12, she realized they weren't just day dreams, like she thought. She knew it was something way different. She saw things before they happened, and the visions were always changing. She put some research into it and figured out what she was. After explaining it to Janielle, she confessed to seeing the same things.

The girls have kept it a secret from their parents as long as the could. Just last year, Mercedes accidently let something slip, and ended up explainingit to their parents. Surprisingly, her father already knew. He said it was something that has ran in his family for generations. He, however, was not blessed with the gift, but was happy to see his girls have it.

Way back in grade school, Mercedes and Janielle met Lydia. They three became fast friends. Even though Lydia couldn't talk, Mercedes and Janielle have no problems communicating with her, due to her own ability.

This year has been a little different. Mercedes has a friend, who is a vampire. Before school started, Mercedes had a vision, and it keeps reoccuring. It invovles a vampire and Lydia. In the end, the vampire bites Lydia. She is sure Janielle hasn't seen it, since she hasn't said anything yet. The girls tend to have different visions at different times, the future constantly changes. Mercedes has kept this a secret but, so far this vision hasn't changed. She doesn't know what to do about it but, feels she needs to protect Lydia.
